For the 2019-2020 school year, Kate Chegwin will operate using a two semester system. Complementary courses comprise an important part of each child’s education. Careful thought is required when choosing these courses; aspects such as aptitude, interest and abilities need to be considered.
Once complementary courses are chosen for the school year and staffing and programming have been put into place to meet student demand, it is essential that students remain in their chosen courses.
Complementary courses offered are subject to change based on student interest and staff availability.
Please note that most complementary courses have a fee associated with them. These fees are to cover the cost of consumable materials such as groceries in a Foods class, wood for a Construction project or bussing for Outdoor Education field trips. These fees are approximate and may change when they are collected in the fall.
